Our Mission and Purpose
We empower the older adult in their entrepreneurial journey, while delivering essential services which allow seniors to age safely in place.
We achieve this by helping older adults to launch micro-businesses using their existing capacity, skills and resources combined with custom learning resources and our Skills At Work program.
As a social enterprise, community is at the core of everything that we do, whether it is creating employment opportunities for older adults who have been discriminated against in the labour market, helping the elderly to age in place, or offering subsidized services to seniors or individuals facing disabilities or barriers.
At our core, we believe that the older adult is worthy of respect, and can contribute value to our workplaces, businesses and labour markets.
Volunteer With Us
Over 55 relies on volunteers from the community for its daily operations. Our volunteers assist with office tasks, trade shows, and more.
